The Wigwam Country Club (WCC) is an Arizona non-profit corporation incorporated in 1953. The purpose of the WCC is to provide an athletic, recreational and social organization for its members.
The WCC neither owns nor operates any of the facilities of The Wigwam Resort used by its members. It has, through an agreement with The Wigwam Resort, arranged for its members, upon payment of an initiation fee, monthly fees and house charges to the resort, to have
access to the Resort's golf, tennis, health and fitness, locker rooms and food and beverage facilities.
The present ten year agreement with the Resort was effective April 1, 2000 with owner having
the right to terminate the agreement upon giving three years' notice to WCC and paying an amortized initiation fee refund to its members, reduced by 10% of the original amount paid, for each year, or portion thereof, that the member has been a member of WCC. The three year period can be reduced by the owner to one year if the resort is sold or has been purchased within the past year.
The club is governed by its board of directors and officers.
